Paradise on Earth!

Here's a few beautiful snaps of our recent visit to Hawaii. I consider it my privilege that I could visit an extremely beautiful island, thanks to my dear hubby. We visited the Kauai island of Hawaii. It is also called the Garden Island becoz of the ample variety of flora found there. The weather there is perfect almost all thru' the year. The island has an easy-going & laid-back attitude to it, which is visible in the way locals spend time, their casual dresses, the easy traffic... If you want to relax and rejuvenate yourself, then Kauai is the place for you!
Geographically, the island is roughly divided into 5 parts- the north shore which is the most beautiful part, complete with the beautiful Napali coast and the forest covered Bali-hai mountains aside the most beautiful beaches; the east shore which is again home to sun-kissed sands and variety of foliage; the south shore which is the most commercially developed part, with many tourists flocking to the popular Poipu beach; the west shore, a dry and arid terrain and home to the Waimea Canyon also called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific; and the central part which has inaccessible mountains and dense forest cover, also housing the Wai'ale'ale mountain-the wettest region on earth with hundreds of waterfalls cascadiing the steep mountain slopes.
We were astonished by the variety of trees and terrain on such a small island! All in all, it was the most wonderful experience for both of us...
